Recognised as Malaysia’s paramount honour in the realm of human resources (HR), the Human Resource Development Awards (HRD Awards) returns to celebrate the epitome of human resource advancement. This year commemorates the illustrious 20th anniversary of the HRD Awards.

OVERVIEW
HRD Corp recognises and celebrates Training Providers and Trainers whose contributions have significantly advanced human capital development in Malaysia.
Eligible Training Providers and Trainers must meet the following criteria:
- Have no disciplinary record with HRD Corp.
- Have not won the HRD Awards in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
- Training Providers: Must be registered as HRD Corp Registered Training Providers and have achieved a Training Effectiveness Evaluation (TEE) score above 4.50.
- Trainers: Must be registered as HRD Corp Accredited Trainers and have achieved a Training Effectiveness Evaluation (TEE) score above 4.50.
- The HRD Awards recognise excellence in training delivery, effectiveness and impact. Award recipients serve as role models, inspiring continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of training across Malaysia.
AWARDS CRITERIA
HUMAN RESOURCES MINISTER AWARD
Awarded to the highest-performing Training Providers and Trainers nationwide who demonstrate outstanding excellence in training delivery, quality, effectiveness and impact, based on their overall assessment scores.
HRD CORP AWARD
Awarded to high-performing applicants who achieved the second-highest level of recognition within each award category.
EXCELLENCE AWARD
Awarded to high-performing applicants who achieve the third-highest level of recognition within each award category.
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL DECK
To recognise excellence in training and talent development, the HRD Awards 2026 assess Training Providers and Trainers across key areas, including training quality and effectiveness, industry contribution, professional capabilities and overall impact on workforce development.
Applicants with the highest overall scores will receive the Human Resources Minister Award, HRD Corp Award and Excellence Award respectively.

TRAINING QUALITY CATEGORY
This award recognises Training Providers that consistently demonstrate excellence in organisational capability, trainer quality, course quality and learner experience.
TRAINING IMPACT CATEGORY
This award recognises Training Providers whose programmes demonstrate meaningful learning, application and measurable workplace or organisational outcomes.
INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT CATEGORY
This award recognises Training Providers that actively engage and build strong partnerships with a broad range of employers, demonstrating their ability to understand employer needs and deliver industry-responsive training programmes.
TRAINERS
TRAINING QUALITY CATEGORY
This award recognises Trainers who consistently deliver high-quality, engaging and relevant learning experiences.
TRAINING IMPACT CATEGORY
This award recognises Trainers who enable learners to achieve meaningful learning outcomes and apply knowledge and skills in the workplace.
PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE CATEGORY
This award recognises Trainers who demonstrate outstanding professional expertise, continuous development and contribution to the training profession.
Excellence in Future Skill Award
Awarded to the organisation that actively implements HRD Corp focus area programmes that align with business objectives and enhance its bottom line. Judges assess the design, creation, and implementation of the HRD Corp focus area programmes that have effectively contributed to the organisation.
